Sovereignty

This term is thrown around quite a lot without knowing what it means. The term sovereignty simply means to be Sovereign. Which means to have no higher power over you. To answer to no higher authority. If your constitution says we are all equal under the law, then everyone is sovereign. So no judge, barrister, solicitor, guard, council worker or other person has authority over you because you are all equal.

If a state is deemed to be a sovereign state. It must have no higher authority. Currently, much as we hate to admit it. eiRe is NOT sovereign as it has several higher powers:

  • britain
  • EU
  • UN – Maybe soon enough even NATO.

Until we are free of all these authorities, we will never be sovereign. However, the Irish people can still be sovereign, simply by declaring it. We will show how to do this here.
